Gerard’s opens in Adams Village.

Operated by Gerard Adomunes, it is located at 772 Adams Street. The 20-year-old Adomunes borrowed the $15,900 to buy the building from his father and brother. The restaurant and variety store becomes a neighborhood landmark, frequented by police officers, firefighters, politicians and neighborhood residents. It closes on March 6, 2016.
